What we collect

When you connect your Instagram Business or Creator account, we collect — via the official Instagram API, with your explicit authorization — your profile basics (username, account type, follower count), your media metadata (captions, permalinks, post dates, thumbnails), and performance insights for your posts and account (views, reach, likes, comments, saves, shares, watch time).

Why we collect it

Solely to compute and show you your own performance analysis. We do not sell your data. We do not share your identifiable data with third parties.

Benchmarks (optional)

If — and only if — you explicitly opt in, anonymized, aggregated metrics from your account contribute to cohort benchmarks. Cohorts are never shown below a minimum size, and no output can identify your account.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your data at any time by disconnecting the app from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites → Social Maker). Instagram notifies us automatically when you do, and we delete your rows — profile, media, insights, and any generated audits — immediately. Deletion removes the data outright; it is not a soft hide.
